my hair is a little longer than shoulder length and i was wondering if red uneven (zig-zag if you will) ends would look good.

I would try it if your are only doing it on the ends. It might really look funky and different and if you get it done by a pro they can probably do a good job. If you do not like it all you will have to do is cut off the ends.

It doesn't sound right to me, I just cannot visualize that. I don't know how it would look honestly. I would suggest going to a salon for a consultation about it before you do it even if you plan to do it yourself.

I think it would be pretty. Maybe try a light version of red to start with. As blonde hair is a soft color, I think a soft red would look good with it.

I've seen it on about 5 people at my school, and so far it's looked bad. Get something tan coloured or natural looking. My friend got her under layers dirty blong (almost brown) then the top blond, it looked really hot :)
