Certain colors such as dark brown, or red need to be lightened by a professional. We just can't obtain the color we want by using the products available to the average consumer. Your hair would have to be stripped first, then colored blonde, so make an appointment with your hair stylist.

Well dying fair hair is a tricky buisness as its harder to remove say if you change your mind, iv'e got blonde hair and when i dyed mine for halloween it took months to wash out. So make sure you really want to dye your hair anyway, also going to the hairdressers is proberly the best option. They give you choices and tell you whats best for individual hair types. I would go with semi-perminent colour, it comes out quicker than say bleach but it dosent damage your hair and it also comes out very nicely with no dark roots!

Have you gone to a professional? They might be able to help you out. Go to a good salon and have a consultation first. Some people's hair just does not take color. You might be one of them. If you are then I would tell you to stop wasting your money and embrace your red hair.

Go to a prefessional i went and for my hair blonde but had it done by a professional then i became a brunette which is also fun, but gte ur hair coloured at a salon lady before you have no hair at all.
