salons prices will range from the lengenth of your hair but its going to cost 35$ and up depending if you do your whole heads with highlights or just the top layer of your hair . as for the color red i say you go for it girlie =)! the red tone will give your tan complexion even a lovlier glow and the purple undertone will give it spunk!

if you have a sally beauty supply store, i'd go there. i believe you can get hair dye for under $12. i think thats the most expensive i've seen for color like that. btw, i think dark red with purple would look so awesome. i just wish i could see how it comes out!!!
