I want to dye my hair dark red?

Right now I have natural golden dark blonde hair. I would like tot ry to dye my hair myself, but I've heard horror stories of hair turning pink. Should I dye my hair brown first, then dye it red on top of that, or just go straight to red. Will the golden-ness of my hair produce a weird effect with the red color? Any help and suggestions would be great!

No, dying your hair brown first won't work. The brown dye will be hard to break though. I use this color red that is more of a dark red color. It is by Feria.....56~Brilliant Bordeaux or if you want a little darker......55~Cinnamon. Good luck. I color my hair all the time, I think it is fun to change your haircolor. Your hair will be fine as long as you condition it regularly.

theres this loreal color vibe thing thats red dye that waashes off in 8-10 washes.. i would try that... but i dnt think that youll get the exact red that you want since your hair is naturrally blonde.. but i dont think it would turn pink!
