I'm a redhead too, and was teased unmercifully all through grade school (i was the only readhead). If it bothers you too much, dye it a different color. Now that I'm older, I love my red hair, and wouldn't change it for a thing. God only made a few redheads, the people he considered worthy.

No, do NOT dye your hair because people hate you for it. Actually, people probably don't hate you because you have red hair. There may be something below the surface that you aren't letting yourself see. Maybe they don't like you for another reason and you just don't want to see it. Or, maybe they're just jealous of who you are. Some people (myself included; as a brunette I must admit I have a certain dislike for blondes) just pick out something to dislike about somebody else because they're not happy with their self. They just pick out something different and critisize it to make themselves feel better about who they are. If I were you, I wouldn't let it get to me. You shouldn't change yourself to please anyone else. Be proud to be different-and eventually not changing will make you a better and stronger person.
