I have red hair and i want to dye it.?

i really want to dye but my mom wont let me. she says i have such a pretty color but i hate it. she says i cant dye it till i move out and im only 15 so that will be a few years. what can i say to her to convince her??

red hair is a pretty color..but if you wanna dye, you wanna dye it.

just tell her you are old enough to dye your hair, you want a change, she can help you if she wants, if you get a darker color it will always wash out in 6-8 weeks, if you get a lighter color [like bleaching] you can always dye it closer to your natural hair color again, you hair will grow out, and yea thats what i did and it worked!

Get straight A's on your report card, show it to her, then as a reward, she should let you dye your hair.

omg...my mom is the same way....but i think if you show her that you are growing up and becoming more mature she will see that maybe you are ready for more priviliges.....you should also consider the fact that your hair can get severly damaged by dying it

Have you thought how much care you will have to cope with your hair? Just red hair is so amazing. People dye their hair just to get your natural color.

Your mother is right about how pretty your hair is and maybe when you move out.

Because while you live under her roof, you have to listen to her. When your older, all the decisions is made up to YOU. Have kids, a nice house, dog(s), jewlry, etc.

You just have a few years, hun. There are going to be more problems and stressness that you can't handle and forget your ol' highlighted hair.

Please listen to her. Red hair is such a striking colour, I can't believe that you want to change the colour. Here in South Africa we have two natural redhead actresses and BOTH were voted as two of the most beautiful women in South Africa. And you know SA has some of the most beautiful women in the world!
