Really the best expert is your hairdresser. Or if you feel your current hairdresser isn't the best colorist, then ask around your friends and colleagues and find a salon that does good color work. You should be able to go in and consult with your hairdresser about hair shades. It may be that a basic colour with some lowlights (not as strong and obvious as highlights) shaded through will give you the natual look you want.

Try rinsing your hair with cranberry juice every morning.

Try henna. It's a natural plant that will give you a natural look close to your original color. It will make your gray hair look like natural highlights. You can purchase it at most drug stores or natural food stores.

Not an expert.

Use Henna powder (also called mehendi).

To prepare, boil the henna powder with used tea leaves.( and optionally with amla and soap-nut) leave the mixture open overnight, use in the morning.

Put on a generous quantity of the paste(NOT HOW YOU PUT ON ART. COLOUR) evenly on your entire scalp. leave on for 30-mins, wash off.

PL NOTE. the paste WILL DRIP for the first 15 mins, so wear old clothes and dont work too much. also, it will take 2-3 washes to get the entire residue out of your scalp(if you have long hair that is)

Result a natural-looking Brownish-red that lasts for a month at most.
